Welcome to the tryouts for this year's 2023-2024 U10 Osgoode Richmond Roman’s Competitive Rep B team.  My name is Stephen Wilson and I will be the head coach for this season

I wanted to write a short email to lay out the schedule for the next couple of weeks.

U11 Pathways Warmups

There will be 4 ice times available to the children which are not evaluated as part of the official tryout.  The purpose of these ice times is to give the children some time on the ice to get the summer rust off.  Please bring your own jerseys for the ice times.  The schedule for the warmups is below

U11 Tryouts

After the 4 warmups session above the tryouts for the team will begin.  Each child will be given 3 ice times before cuts can happen.  The evaluations will be completed by myself and independent evaluators who do not have children on the team.  After the third ice time cuts will be posted on the website.  You must attend all tryouts.  The schedule for the tryouts is listed below. The tryout jerseys you purchased will be handed out at the first tryout session.

U11 Tryout Exhibition

If further evaluation of any children is necessary there are two exhibition games.  You will be informed if your child will play these games. The schedule for the tryouts is listed below.

Volunteers

As I am currently the only staff member until the final team is chosen, I am looking for volunteers to help me with the sessions.  I am looking for on-ice helpers for all the ice sessions.  For the scrimmages I will need 1-2 people to run the clock.  If you have any interest please let me know and once I have the names I will make a schedule.
