  ShareROMANs Preseason Ice and Checking Clinics2021-08-13
 The ROMANs have scheduled pre-season ice as well as the body checking clinics recommended for players who will be playing contact this year.
Instructions for sign-up: The registration and payment for these sessions must be done through the new Hockey Canada Registration site. This is similar to the way you have registered for your player for the season. The link above will allow you to register your player for the session you wish to attend, it is a direct link to the ROMANs Online Store.
You must ensure to both register your player with your home association on the Hockey Canada Registration website and preregister your player through the ROMANs Expression of Interest google form so your players profile can be linked. You will need to wait approx. 24 hours for this process to complete as it is manual.
These ice times are not part of tryouts. They are conditioning and body checking clinics before the tryouts start in September.
You will notice there is no pre-season ice listed for the U10 & U11 age groups. This is because they are part of the new (U11 Canadian Player Pathway) The key take away, relating to this pre-season, is on page 6 of this document and indicates the following for U11 players: "Player evaluation/selection/tryouts cannot be scheduled prior to the start of the school year." ROMANS will be following this new initiative by Hockey Canada.
