On September 1, 2021 the Government of Ontario announced its decision to require, beginning on Sept. 22, 2021, proof of full vaccination (two doses plus 14-day waiting period) for access to certain indoor facilities, including indoor “facilities used for sports and fitness activities and personal fitness training, such as gyms, fitness and recreational facilities.”
The City of Ottawa has since released information pertaining to rink facilities in which the Romans have a presence. Effective September 22nd 2021, City of Ottawa facilities will require patrons to be fully vaccinated and will have to provide proof of their vaccination status and ID to enter their facilities.
There is an exemption for organized sports and physical activities (including hockey) for youth under the age of 18.
Volunteers working during the activity (bench staff, manager), are also exempt from the vaccination requirement.
Please see page 8 of the following for additional exemptions that may apply.

For City delivered programs and activities, City staff are responsible.
